Whitwick: Cllr David Everitt
I will endeavour to speak for those that feel forgotten Cllr David Everitt, Labour Candidate for Whitwick
My wife and I live in Thringstone, as does my step-daughter and her family. I have represented Thringstone for fourteen years on NWL District Council and Whitwick for eight years on Whitwick parish council. I have always put local people first, whether fighting to protect the area from bad planning applications or working with other councillors to ensure improvements in council services.
We all know there are times when the council doesn’t seem to be listening, but I always do my best to make sure Thringstone and Whitwick residents are heard. If you want a strong and dependable local voice for the community trust me with your vote.
If you elect me I will work for the people of Whitwick and Thringstone to see they receive their fair share of investment from the county council. We are living through difficult times; COVID, Brexit and global warming are changing our lives now. The county council makes decisions that affect the way these issue are dealt with on a local level, and many people rely upon the services provided by the county. Vulnerable children, the disabled, the aged and many others are all affected by the decisions made at county hall, with a well run County Council being the pathway to good educational opportunities for our young people, easy and convenient travel that works for you and a healthy environment to ensure the wellbeing of you and yours. If you elect me I will endeavour to ensure that no one is forgotten or left behind.
