Two long-standing Holywell residents, Liz Parle and Avril Wilson, will be standing for Labour in an Ashby Town Council by-election which will be held on Thursday 20th January 2022.

The election has been called because two of the three sitting Conservative ward councillors were automatically removed from their positions when they failed to turn-up to any council meetings for over 6 months.
